1. Extend device lifecycles.
The most effective way to reduce e-waste is to keep working devices in active use. That’s why Regrade focuses on verified, warranty-backed certified devices — not random “used”.
2. Verify before we sell.
We don’t list devices that fail verification. Every unit is checked and prepared so customers can confidently choose pre-owned instead of forcing new production.
3. Transparent grading (locked standards).
Regrade uses only two grades: Excellent (Battery ≥ 90%) and Very Good (Battery ≥ 85%). Both are 100% functional — cosmetic differences only.
4. Responsible end-of-life routing.
If a device is beyond safe use, we don’t push it back into the market. Where available, we route units to parts recovery and responsible recycling partners.
What happens to devices in the Regrade ecosystem.
Whether it’s a trade-in, a partner device, or incoming inventory — we follow a clear process instead of letting products silently become waste.
Inspection & secure data preparation.
Devices are checked for authenticity and basic eligibility. Accounts and user data are removed before resale (e.g., iCloud / FRP clearing where applicable).
Testing & grading.
We run functional verification and apply a transparent grade: Excellent (Battery ≥ 90%) or Very Good (Battery ≥ 85%). Only 100% functional devices are sold.
Second life with warranty-backed support.
The device gets extended life with a new owner, supported by Regrade’s policies and warranty approach to keep products in use longer.
End-of-life: recover parts or recycle responsibly.
When a unit can’t be repaired safely or economically, we prioritize parts recovery where possible, and route remaining materials to responsible recycling channels.
